We are at the quarters of FDNY Ladder 24, which is housed with Engine 1 on 31st Street off of 7th Avenue in Manhattan, where we see 24 as they go on a run for a call of a structural manhole issue (whether it was a fire or some sort of accident, I am unsure). They were called 2nd due, and the incident was at 15th Street and 9th Avenue. 24 and 1 have some of the newest rigs in the FDNY. Engine 1 is a 2010 Seagrave Pumper, while Ladder 24 is a 2011 Ferrara Hook and Ladder truck with a 100 foot rear mount aerial. As they pull out, you will see that they shut the lights off. I am not sure why, but maybe they were cancelled as they left. Enjoy the light show, as well as the added on New York Ranger emblems on the grilles of the rigs. If you have any questions about the video, feel free to message me. Comments are welcome. The video was taken on May 24th, 2012.
