Welcome back! Relive the story of Triple H with Stephanie McMahon against Chris Jericho heading into the Fully Loaded PPV of 2000.

At the King of the Ring event, the animosity between Chris Jericho and Triple H reached a boiling point when Jericho, in an act of humiliation, kissed Triple H's wife, Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley. This incident backfired, as Stephanie's interference cost Jericho the quarter-final match against Kurt Angle in the King of the Ring tournament.

The subsequent night on the June 26 episode of Raw is War, Jericho found himself in a match against X-Pac, a member of Triple H's D-Generation X faction, with Stephanie seeking revenge for the previous night's humiliation. Post-match, Jericho faced a brutal assault from X-Pac and Road Dogg, orchestrated by Stephanie, who delivered a humiliating slap and a low blow. Seeking retribution, Jericho retaliated later that night by costing Triple H a triple threat match.

On the June 29 episode of SmackDown, Triple H demanded a match against Jericho, leading Commissioner Mick Foley to arrange a six-man tag team encounter. DX secured the victory, fueling even more tension. Foley announced a one-on-one match between Jericho and Triple H at Fully Loaded on the July 3 episode of Raw is War.

Tensions within DX escalated on the July 10 episode of Raw is War as Jericho triumphed over Road Dogg. The internal strife climaxed in a match between Triple H and X-Pac, where Jericho fell into an elaborate trap, leading to a vicious attack and injury. Responding to Jericho's demand, Foley declared their upcoming match at Fully Loaded a Last Man Standing match on the July 17 episode of Raw is War.

In an unexpected twist during the main event tag team match on the same night, Jericho made a surprise appearance, disrupting the bout and costing Triple H the match. This interference set the stage for a heated confrontation at Fully Loaded, with Jericho and Triple H ready to settle their score in a Last Man Standing match.
