I'd like to reiterate, safe companies do not just give out codes to people who call and ask.

Liberty did NOT do this. Liberty safe provided a code to law enforcement with a legal right to search the safe (a search warrant).

Safe manufactures use locksmith, in most cases, to verify ownership and identity of persons seeking override codes.
