On our 2nd day in Iceland, we got to start our long-awaited road trip! Before we headed out of Reykjavik, we stopped at the Perlan to see their awesome ice caves and planetarium.

After leaving the Perlan, we got on the road for our modified version of the Iceland Ring Road. I combined different landmarks from the Golden Circle Tour as well, which meant tons of driving. On this first day, we visited: Rauðhólar Hills, Reykjadalur Hot Springs, the Keldur Turf Houses, Seljalandsfoss Waterfall, Reynisdrangar – Black Sand Beach, and finished the day at Skogafoss Waterfall before heading to our hotel for the night!
