You can never fault NFL players for ring-chasing near the tail end of their careers. Jumping to a championship contender in their later years sure worked out for the likes of DeMarcus Ware, Darrelle Revis, Ndamokung Suh and Eric Weddle, among others.

But some of the top NFL players – past and present – simply didn’t time it right when it came to pursuing a Super Bowl ring. They were wise to leave their previous teams, but these 10 players simply chose the wrong team to ring-chase with.
