We spent 3 nights and 2 days in the historic center of Granada, Spain, overlooking Plaza del Carmen. The main sites of the city are within walking distance. However, you could spend 2 days just in the Alhambra complex, especially if you have tickets (unlike us) to the Alcazar, Nasrid Palaces and Generalife.
Free tapas: We had heard about the Granada tradition of including a tapa with each drink but didn't believe it. Well, it's true! Maybe it is a symbol of the generous spirit of the city.
