Another challenging Hickory Crotch log from the files. I had to do a bit of modification on it, like sawing off the fourth branch where the Tailstock went (saved me much tool sharpening time) and "shaving" off some bark that would have been bouncing off of my face shield. I used my Half Draw Knife which resembles a straight edge razor!
I really like the grain in this wood and I kept a bit of the natural edge.
Sanded 60-3000gt
Mineral Oil finish only.
