Universal template for installing SLIDE!
In this video you will learn how to make a simple and practical jig to install telescopic slides in your drawers.
The telescopic slides are hardware that allow the drawer to be fully opened, with a smooth and silent movement. They also add a touch of sophistication to your furniture, as they are less apparent than common runners.
To make the jig, you will need:
Some wooden battens
a square
a tape measure
A pencil
a drill
screws
The step-by-step instructions for using it are as follows:
Position the jig on the drawer track
press the jig to tighten the drawer
make the holes for the slide already pre-drilled in the template
Screw the slide into the drawer, using the holes made
Repeat the process for the other slide at the other end.
Ready! You already have a jig to install telescopic slides
