It was time to do an organizing check-in and re-organize my Coat Closet. As this is a multipurpose space, it can get a little crazy from time to time especially with the arrival of colder weather. Every now and again, a space you organized before can get a little disorganized and cluttered again for a variety of reasons. This is something you definitely should NOT feel bad about! You're human, you have a life and that life happens! Periodically, you should revisit spaces that were previously organized and reevaluate them to see if your system worked or if some things need to be tweaked. How often you do this depends on how often things tend to go awry and will vary from space to space. I usually like to reevaluate once or twice a calendar year per space.
