Andy Irons had just won three titles and was taking his foot off the gas a bit. He was bummed on how Jack McCoy's film Blue Horizon made him out to be such a contest surfer. He enjoyed freesurfing (aka: taking trips and cruising with friends) just as much as anyone. For him, Trilogy was a chance to prove it. His surfing here is just another example of why he's remembered as one of the greatest of all time. Off the chain.
