As promised at the end of the stream, here's the rest of I Am Future in its current state. It's an attractive game, everything works the way it's supposed to, the economics of smash, build, upgrade, smash more are well thought through... and yet, ultimately it feels without purpose beyond reaching the next smash, build, upgrade cycle. Fundamentally, because I'm not creating anything that is uniquely "mine" I'm just treading a predetermined path that holds little interest.

It's a curious sensation. I really enjoy survival games, and yet this one, which covers the fundamentals so effectively, feels hollow.
