The character of the romantic folk tale Heer Ranjha Ranjha was born in this village in the 15th century. Ranjha was the youngest of seven siblings. Being the youngest, Ranjha used to hang out with friends instead of taking part in chores. The name of this village is Takht Hazara and Takht Hazara is located 25 kilometers east of Sial Morar Interchange on the banks of river Chenab. If you want to come to Takht Hazara from Karachi or Quetta then you have to come to Sargodha Takht Hazara is near and if you want to come to Takht Hazara from Islamabad or Lahore, you have to come on the motorway to M2 Sial Mor Interchange.
