UPDATE (April 5, 2024): I've updated the website to reflect the new 20.0.0.0 release of HyperHDR.
If you want to UPGRADE from 19 to 20, FIRST BACK UP YOUR CONFIGURATION. In the web config, click the Menu, select General, and tap EXPORT and save the config file (you can do this with your phone or PC).
Then, follow the instructions in this section of the tutorial:

Once you get to the "Configuration" heading, STOP. Once the Pi reboots, go back into HyperHDR web config, go to Menu, then General, and click IMPORT. Select the file you just saved from your 19 configuration, and everything should "just work" :) I just did this myself on the Pi Zero 2 W.

This is an update to my Ambilight 2.0 Video I posted on Christmas Day last year (2023):

In this video, I show how to use some inexpensive products to allow you to preserve HDR / DolbyVision while using your Hyperion setup. To do so, you'll need this splitter (or one with similar features; this is the one I tested):
1x2 HDMI Splitter ($30):

Same splitter but with 120Hz support (Thanks to Brandon!):

And you'll need an inexpensive HDMI capture device such as this ($17)

I also cover the fact that almost ANY Raspberry Pi computer can do this job. It WILL work on a Pi Zero W (the 32-bit version) however, it''s a bit slow (the LEDs lag slightly behind the TV picture). But it is the least expensive Pi kit so, for $35:

Then there's the Pi Zero 2 W (note the "2") which is a full Quad-Core, 64-Bit version and is MUCH faster ($40 -- only $5 more and I've confirmed that it works MUCH better):

If you want a full Pi 3B kit instead ($80):

And of course the beloved Pi 4B ($98):

These are of course Amazon Affiliate links; using them gives me a tiny commission, but adds nothing to your cost.
