Helmut Lang for years was a brand almost forgotten. Remembered only in archive fashion and nostalgia after their brand had been run into the ground by Prada and by Link Holdings. However, it seemed things are on the up with the appointment of Peter Do into the brand, who, not only seemed like the perfect fit, has the right amount of interest from his personal brand to bring attention back to Helmut Lang. However, after a lacklustre debut, perhaps as a result of the big buzz around the debut, it seems a little disappointing. Will this be the return of Helmut Lang or is it doomed to continue falling?
