Wreckfest has arrived on PS+ in May 2021, thought I'd give it a bash (literally) on Wrecknado, 23 AI cars, 10 laps, in one of only two cars I've got unlocked. On the PS4 version I'm level 70, got the platinum and have the two season passes so it's a bit of a downgrade until any save transfer happens and it knows I've got the DLC. First impressions, it doesn't look that different on my 1080p TV, which I will be replacing this year, feels smoother of course at 60FPS. There's a really weird decision in putting the crunching sound effects on the controller speaker, which sounds dreadful, I muted that in the control centre because there's not an option in the game settings. Haptics feel quite nice from a limited test, accelerator felt heavier after some damage was acquired but you could feel the brakes from the start. Video captured using the PS5's inbuilt system.
