In to days video we finally get the Gleaner S97 fired up and harvest some corn. The day started off with Mrs Brown and I going over to the grain bins where we decided its to wet for soybean harvest and make the decision to switch the gleaner over for corn harvest. While we are doing that our ohio ag salesman Jason arrives to take our old 1038 back to the dealership. We then grease some components on the grain dryer and some motors before going after the corn head.
We hook up to our capello folding corn head and grease it then head to he field. The gleaner eats up the corn and we haul a few loads of corn to cargill until they close. All in all it was a successful first day of the 2022 harvest.
