Embattled Disney CEO Bob Iger held an investors’ call on Wednesday and among a plethora of news, he announced ‘The Mandalorian and Grogu’ movie would be dropping in 2026!

Of course Star Wars fans were quick to point out the Rey Skywalker movie starring Daisy Ridley was already slated for the same year. That means that after 7 years of not releasing a movie (Rise of Skywalker dropped in 2019), Lucasfilm will now premiere 2 in 2026.
