About this video:
. Friendship is an album of country duets that Ray Charles released in February 1985. It features ten songs each with a notable musical legend of the time, including many of country's biggest names. It expands upon a 1983 single, "We Didn’t See A Thing", which paired Ray Charles and George Jones (plus Chet Atkins on guitar).

Other guest artists on Friendship include Hank Williams, Jr, Willie Nelson, and Johnny Cash. Amazingly, no fewer than eight of the LP's ten songs appeared on singles. Ray's performances with Oak Ridge Boys and Ricky Skaggs are only found in the LP itself.

Friendship was a great success, and the commercial apex of Ray's time at Columbia in the 1980s. Friendship sold very well and copies are extremely easy to find.
