Usually modern plastic car door panels are just upholstered in the upper central trim where the armrest and handles are.
The old upholstery was done in automotive fabric. This time the customer requested automotive vinyl.

It was necessary to add an extra new padding for this piece. A 3/8" of an inch foam was useful.

As you can see it was not really an easy task due to the concave area. I tried to lay the vinyl in a gentle way stretching it where it was necessary to avoid a future unsticking.
