Let me begin by saying I DO NOT like cold weather. I choose to live in Louisiana because it has way more hot days than cold days and that is perfectly fine with me. However, I DO love wrangling bees, and if it's cold when the time comes to wrangle some bees, I'll just have to layer up. When it comes to cold weather, I ain't no Ian Steppler.

This adventure finds me and Charlie headed up to Mt. Hermon, Louisiana, about 50 miles north of the abbey, or as Charlie calls it," cow country." We found some really great bees and a bunch of honey as well, and despite of the cold weather, the bees were successfully removed and relocated to the abbey.
