To create an Uber account, open the Uber app and tap Get Started at the bottom. Next type in your phone number and tap Continue. Enter the 4 digit code you were sent through text. Enter your email address. Tap Next at the bottom. Enter your first and last name, then tap Next. Then tap the check box to agree to Uber’s terms and conditions. Now you’ll need to provide payment information through a credit or debit card or PayPal account. If you’d like to skip this for now, you can tap Do This Later, but payment information must be added to your account before you’ll be able to request a ride or order food deliveries. Once you have filled in all of the required information, your account will be created and you’ll receive an email confirmation for your account. After that, you’re ready to start using the Uber app to get rides and food or grocery deliveries.
