A demonstration of using a Raspberry Pi Pico and a couple of DACs to drive an old analogue oscilloscope in XY mode.

It can drive the 'scope as a vector display, so you can make classic vector games. But it can also drive the 'scope in raster mode, achieving a grey-scale display by carefully adjusting the speed of the beam as it sweeps across each scanline. Hence 'velociraster' :-)

It looks like    / @bitlunislab   did the Velociraptor technique back in 2017. He didn't give it a cool name though, so there's that 😃

Drawing things on an oscilloscope is not original! Lots of people have been here before. The only thing I'm bringing to the party is using a Pi Pico - and possibly the beam velocity modulation to adjust brightness.
