"Drive My Car" is a song from the Beatles' mid-term masterpiece "Rubber Soul".
It's the first track on the album Rubber Soul, and it tells the direction of the album.

Rubber Soul contains many of my favorite Beatles songs.

This time, I collaborated with James on one of my favorite songs from that album, Drive My Car. He has collaborated with Gentry Weeps and Something in the past. If you're interested, I'd recommend that too.

This was such a fun time.

His vocals and chorus and his cowbells and tambourines are so cool. I am very honored to be able to collaborate with James in this way.

I've already played this song before on this channel, but this time I've done it all over again.

All guitars and basses were newly played and filmed.
All of them were actually played and filmed with multiple cameras.

James' footage was very unique.
My shooting room is not large, so I can't shoot "full body footage" like James.

So I used the chromakey visual effect on the cream background of his footage, made the background transparent, and chromakeyed it with the footage I was playing.

And at the same time, I applied Bezier masking to his whole body to avoid him becoming invisible due to chromakey.

I believe this was a success.

By the way, I think the guitar used in the original of the song is probably a Stratocaster. The Beatles may not have the impression of using a Stratocaster, but George Harrison often uses this guitar for recording.

And in the solo of this song, Slide Guitar is interwoven in addition to the performance in the usual style.

This is a very distinctive solo and I have tried to reproduce it.
