Our Starcraft pop-up folding tent camper-trailer uses bungee loops to attached the popped out sides to the sliding platforms. Unfortunately, they're easy to break (if you forget to undo them before sliding in the sides.) But fortunately, they're fairly easy to fix with just a few basic materials.
