This video is a Manfrotto counterweight review. In it I go over the reasons why it is superior to a basic sandbag for photography light stands, including how it is much better suited to properly balancing a boom arm light stand.

The manfrotto counterweight is much better for on location photographers because it is more compact being so dense, and it's clamp allows for more specific placement on a light stand.
