But rather than give up, the German giant has yet again reinvented the brand, but this time as a 50/50 joint venture with Geely from China, the owner of Volvo, Polestar, Lotus and Lynk & Co. And the first product of this new partnership is entering into a very congested market sector, the EV crossover under £40,000. Can it succeed?
