Ingredients:
2 and 1/2 cooked chickpeas
1/2 onion
2 tbsp of coconut oil
1/4 cup water
1 tbsp of soy sauce
3 tbsp of all purpose flour
Bread crumbs for coating( I did blend corn flakes and add spice with it)
Salt, black pepper, red pepper, sage, Italian seasonings,and garlic powder to taste
Canola oil to fry chops
Directions:
Placed all the ingredients in a blender and process until almost smooth.
Transfer mixture into a bowl and add flour. Combine everything well and knead until obtaining dough.
Cut into a pieces and spread your bread crumbs over parchment paper.
Use your hand to form cutlets( chops) by pressing on them.
Fry for 1-2 minutes per side in canola oil . Make sure to use a spatula when turning your chop over. They are little fragile- you don’t want to break them.Do not put more than 2 chops in your pan when frying them ( It will be easier to flip them if there is more space between them).Eat with a bread or your favorite pasta, potato, rice and etc.
