Characterized by sunshine, Sup Crushes and the screams of excited fans, Doggie Jams returned after two long years on April 1 with the highly anticipated headliner Shaquille O’Neal, also known as DJ Diesel, and opener Bryen O’Boyle, otherwise known as Just the Tip, and host Brianna Lapiagla, who goes by Brianna Chickenfry on social media.

The day consisted of music, laughs, drinks and dancing. Attendees began entering Five Points Plaza around 2 p.m. and the venue quickly filled. Individuals without Doggie Jams tickets gathered on rooftops surrounding the venue, as well as alongside the gates outside.

O’Boyle, who has attended Doggie Jams since 2015, said the crowd’s energy and positivity are some of the main reasons he continues to return year after year.

“We’re from Philly (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania), it's a seven hour drive, we come all the way down here and it’s always worth it. It’s never like ‘eh,’ you know, it’s always worth it,” O’Boyle said.
