In our review and benchmark of the Lian Li O11 Dynamic XL, we focus on comparisons to the original O11 Dynamic and O11 Air, but also show some baseline thermal numbers versus dozens of other cases. The biggest challenge with a case which doesn't include fans is that we must assign fans to it, and it's easy to "over-cool" a case when we're picking fans, whereas manufacturers often choose significantly worse solutions than we would. Even still, we went ahead with the review and marked some potential optimal fan configurations. Lian Li's O11 Dynamic XL is built in conjunction with Der8auer, with a focus on trying to be the best water cooling PC case in its size. Even still, the O11 series has proven well-designed for air cooling, and we'll see if that carries over to the O11 XL in this review.
