Before I went out on the icy roads and snowy bike paths today, I had already gotten just over 50 mi of running completed in the Lone Peak 8s. I'm enjoying them, and they're definitely a functional winter shoe for me, with how nicely they fit in my Black Diamond spikes, but the Lone Peaks don't tick all the boxes for me anymore, so they will have to hold up over the long haul to earn my final approval.
