A Bull Bison was gored in the forehead during a Bison Rut Fight. The battle took place early on August 13th, 2021 on Slough Creek in Yellowstone National Park. Park Rangers relocated the carcass in a swampy basin a few hundred yards off the road so predators can safely approach the bison in future days, away from tourist intervention, yet with public viewing opportunities. The footage of bison battles inserted into this video took place within the past 36 hours on Slough Creek but are not of the fight that killed the bison rangers moved this afternoon. A video of the fight that caused the mortal wound has been posted on You Tube, according to others present at the site today.
