Dr. Matthew Pan - Creating Remarkable Human-Machine Interactions: Forays in Object Handovers, Animatronic Gaze and Jedi Force Powers.


Dr. Pan is a member of the Electrical and Computer Engineering department at Queen's University and an Ingenuity Labs faculty member. His research intersects the areas of Human-Robotic Interactions (HRI), haptics, virtual/augmented reality, machine learning, and human psychomotor behviour. He is particularly interested in providing social and physical assistance to people during HRIs in real and virtual environments.
