The Tiguan doesn't have the mainstream appeal of a Toyota RAV4 or Honda CR-V, but it does bring much to the table for people that need a practical yet compact SUV. Other main competitors include the Mitsubishi Outlander, Subaru Forester and Mazda CX-5.
