The proposal to ban the use of the county's audio/video system failed. Even better, the rights of citizens to show video to the board was discussed and confirmed! We will soon post SHARK president Steve Hindi's statement to the board, along with excerpts of the board discussion.

We anticipate presenting video evidence within the next few weeks. Stay tuned, as SHARK finally brings the truth to the citizens of Boone County, Illinois!


About "Buy the Lie":
The Boone County Board will be voting on a proposal to ban citizens from showing videos during public comment. Rodeo supporters on the board are determined to squelching our 1st Amendment right to show graphic video evidence of cruel and illegal animal abuse. One rodeo supporter on the board already showed a video during public comment that attempted to cover up the facts. Now the board is refusing to allow us the same rights.

"The lie" the being projected is that they are protecting the county's audio/video equipment from possible viruses and hackers, when the real goal is to prevent constituents from learning the truth about what is going on in their own county.
