We hope y’all enjoy our hike up Arapaho Traverse, which connects South Arapaho Peak (13,400ft / 4,084m) to North Arapaho Peak (13,502ft / 4,115m). We did this long hike in the Summer of 2021. These beautiful 13ers aren’t quite 14ers but that doesn’t mean they were easy. The crux of this mountaineering route was a class III or class IV - the most difficult we’ve done so far for sure! We started at 4:30AM at the Fourth of July trailhead and didn’t make it back to our car until 2PM (you do the math ;p). This is probably our favorite big ole mountain summit so far. What do you think? Would you hike this traverse or are we just crazy?

This isn't the Arapahoe basin east wall or beavers but it is in the beautiful Colorado wilderness. This area is one of our favorite spots for wildflowers in the summertime. Diamond Lake is the best alpine lake for camping and fly fishing, but I guess I’ll leave that for a future video ;P only 408 ft short of a colorado 14ner but man was this the best hikes in colorado!
