Team Liquid didn’t start as a pitch to investors.

It wasn’t hatched in the mind of a marketing executive or designed to sell ads.capture a valuable advertising demographic.

It didn’t have any sponsors, hoodies or a team-specific hashtag.

No, Team Liquid started as a group of StarCraft players trying to improve – and to share that drive to improve with others.

Over 20 years of history, some of its fans became players. And eventually, some of its players became owners.

But the team never lost the things that had made it unique. And it held on to the people who had helped it evolve – even as the entire esports landscape shifted dramatically.

There’s no other story like it in esports.

This is the Story of Team Liquid.
