On August 25, Geisel School of Medicine students in the MD Class of 2027 will receive their short white coats, symbolic of their status as physicians in training, during the medical school’s annual White Coat ceremony. An iconic symbol in medicine, the white coat represents the bond of trust between those who wear it and their patients.
