Cleaning a tire for Dura-Dressing application is NOT the same as cleaning a tire to re-apply traditional tire dressing in any way. Traditional tire dressing doesn't require the tire to be free of oils and silicone. Dura-dressing requires a tire 100% free of silicone and or oils. That will require a strong cleaner and 4-5 cleanings or 2-3 with long dwell times allowing Dura-Cleaner to pull the silicone off the tire.
