Kansas City Royals owner John Sherman and Chiefs' President Mark Donovan expressed their disappointment after Jackson County residents rejected the stadium tax, an extension of the 3/8th-cent sales which have helped pay for a new Royals stadium in the Crossroads and renovations to the Chiefs’ Arrowhead Stadium.
