This is my review of Lego Star Wars Chewbacca released in 2023 for the 40th anniversary of Return of the Jedi, one of my favourite movies. I will admit, I only bought this set because it was heavily discounted during Black Friday . This is item 75371 and has 2319 pieces. Overall this was better than I thought it was going to be. I will say it is ok and not a must have. It’s more of a nice to have , especially if you can get it on sale. It stands at just over 18 inches (46cm). It is non-posable but has a built in bowcaster. It also comes with a minifigure of Chewbacca which has a bowcaster that can fire off studs. The build is quite ambitious and interesting- trying to take a character that is traditionally quite furry and trying to make it look presentable as plastic. It’s not bad… it’s not stunning either.
