I wanted to find a better solution for my phone. I was considering purchasing an expensive unit that would replace my CID screen and add apple car play and android auto. Instead I thought I would use a phone mount to add an additional screen for phone access that adds some style and does not block my view. I would not recommend the holders that go into the slots of the AC system as this can cause them to break and you can end up with a costly repair.

I used a universal car mount by SYNCWIRE made out of cast aluminum that works great and had an awesome look.
