OC - 1515 Long Beach Ave - Working Structure Fire - Lakewood

Around 6:35 PM Lakewood Police got a call for a menorah fire with flames shooting out of the windows. Chief 1 & E-5, L-5 were just clearing a previous menorah fire in the township. Due to the multiple calls received C-1 upgraded the fire to the working fire assignment. Upon arrival there was fire shooting out of the first story of a two-story wood frame-occupied structure, everyone was reported out. Chief 2 arrived on the scene shortly after E-5 & C-1. Engine five started to stretch on the dwelling while C-1 established command. Shortly after water was on the fire. Crews operated for over an hour at the scene and mutual aid was requested from Brick Township & Howell to the scene. 2437 & 19-4. There were no reported injuries and the cause of the fire is currently unknown att. The fire is under investigation by the Ocean County Fire Marshal's Office.
