We recently sat back down with Lexington artist SDE BOP for a brand new “Off The Porch” interview! During our conversation he talked about celebrating his birthday on the porch, putting in a lot of work in the past 13 months since our last interview, what he would look for if he was to sign to a label, people switching up on him, details going to Boosie’s Estates, reveals that Boosie was going to jump on a song with him but never ended up doing it, dropping 4 projects in the past 13 months, his upcoming project ‘Welcome To The Empire’, his newest project ‘Let Me Grieve’, losing his grandmother & grandfather in the same week last December, recently having his 9th child, his music connecting with people, the SDE brand, reveals why he named his son For’tae, his album ‘Blood Diamonds’, getting Sada Baby on his song “Ain’t A Secret”, also working with Skilla Baby on “Skilla Flow”, the music scene in Lexington right now, doing a “From The Block” performance in Cincinnati, reveals that we inspired the title to his project ‘Da Energy’, misconceptions about Lexington, shares advice for the youth, social media’s impact on kids, plans for 2024, putting on for his city, and much more!
