The beginning of my series on the road to Wrestlemania 40. What better way to open up a series about Wrestlemania than with a list of the best opening matches. Back in the day, the opening match of Wrestlemania was just that, a match. Now, other than the Main Event, the opening match of Wrestlemania has become a desired place on the card. This is my list of the Top 10 Opening Matches in Wrestlemania history. As always these are my opinion, NO Dark Matches or Preshow Matches, each individual night of Wrestlemania is its own show; meaning both nights opening match under the 2 night format is eligible for the list.
