This video is about Sultan Salahuddin/Saladin Family tree. It is the Family chart of Salahuddin Ayyubi who was the founder of the Ayyubid dynasty. He was Sunni Muslim Kurd who became the first sultan of both Egypt and Syria and is also known as the conqurer of Bait al Maqdis (Jerusalem). He was very much inspired from his uncle Asad ud Din Shirkoh and that is why joined Zengid Army under his command.
Sultan Salahuddin Ayyubi led the Muslim military campaign against the Crusader states & he was also an important figure in the Third Crusade.
At the height of his power, his sultanate spanned Egypt, Syria, Iraq, the Hejaz, Yemen & parts of western North Africa.
