In this video I completely disassemble the EQ6R-Pro Mount and rebuild it with new bearings. I also do a quick overview of how to tune the EQ6R-Pro after reassembly and show before and after guiding results. I did not adjust any gap widths or polish any of the bearings as some do in Hypertuning or Supertuning the mount. I was just looking for a decent improvement for a little amount of work and money.

I based my rebuild on Glenn's video from the Astrobloke channel:
   • Sky Watcher EQ6 R PRO stripdown and r...

And also on the Astro-Baby website:
https://www.astro-baby.com/astrobaby/...

I ordered these bearing from:
https://www.qualitybearingsonline.com/
6 - SKF 60082RS1
4 - SKF 608RSH
1 - Timken 30206
1 - Timken 32208

I already owned all the tools I needed for the job, but I've added some Amazon links to tools that will work just fine. Even if you don't plan on doing the rebuild, you should own some of these tools if you own the mount because you will most likely need then at some point.
