It’s the second part of my 1860s transformation dress series. Today you’ll see the process of making a corset based on a pattern from Norah Waugh "Corsets and Crinolines". I’m going to talk in great detail about how I cut and connect the panels, make bias tape for boning channels and use flossing (embroidery on corset’s boning channels) for both functional and decorative reasons.
