Ace is Back, and I Told You So! The legendary guitarist, Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, and founding member of KISS, Ace Frehley, will release his newest studio album, “10,000 Volts” on February 23, 2024 via MNRK.

The first three things that come to mind when you think of Ace are guitar God, innovator, and virtuoso. He is one of the world's most respected and influential guitarists who has forged an outstanding 50-year career. What separates the innovators like Ace from those who followed, is the courage to try something different. To break the rules and rewrite them at every opportunity. To challenge himself until something completely new is created that he can call his own. Ace continues to find there are walls in guitar playing and songwriting he needs to break down.

“10,000 Volts” goes beyond the boundaries of Ace's previous solo endeavors and taps into a much statelier and melodic rock-oriented presentation of his music reminiscent of his 1978 solo album. There is no shortage of his theatrical vocals and entertaining lyrics on this release. Ace's energy is combustible as he delivers his signature crunchy guitar tone and fluid-like playing, with some blues bravado thrown in for good measure. He impressively leaps from the powerhouse opener of "10,000 Volts" to the punchy "Cherry Medicine" to the soulful balladry of "Back into My Arms Again." He closes the album with an epic guitar instrumental, "Stratosphere," showcasing his fretwork skills in all its grandeur. In total, eleven finely crafted songs that will vibrate your soul.

“10,000 Volts” was co-written and co-produced by Steve Brown of Trixter and Ace. Their dynamic partnership and chemistry shine bright on this release, and together, they are already plotting “Origins 3” and a possible live recording.

Correspondent Robert Cavuoto spoke to Ace Frehley about creating 10,000 Volts” with Steve, who helped bring this album to life. Ace shares how he has six portable recorders filled with new song ideas with has no interest in slowing down or retiring! He enjoys writing songs with positive energy and, after 17 years of sobriety, is no longer interested in writing lyrics with drug or alcohol references.

He admits he had his fair share of doubts about maintaining his creativity while getting sober but quickly realized sobriety made him even more creative. As much as Ace loves creating music, don't count on him ever releasing an entire album of instrumental guitar music, as he feels his fans might not be interested in songs where he is not singing!
