Here's a brief etude I've composed for the purpose of honing my skills in playing vital triad shapes located within the CAGED system on the 1st, and 2nd strings seen as the A shape. This could also just be viewed as second inversion as lowest note is the fifth.

The four essentially triads are major (R, 3, 5), minor (R, b3, 5), diminished (R,b3, b5) and augmented (R, 3 #5) but I have also included suspended triads which aren’t technically triads as they are not not stacked in thirds. Sus2 (R, 2, 5) and sus4 (R, 4, 5)

I include suspended triads because they are great substitutes for major and minor triads because they introduce tension and release, allow for smooth transitions between major and minor chords, add variation to chord progressions, convey different emotions, and enable creative harmonies in music.
