Echeveria is a genus of succulent plants that is incredibly popular thanks to the beautiful rosette leaf arrangement. While they are a succulent and hardy in some ways, they do a need a bit of special care to grow well.

Echeveria are native to arid parts of Mexico, central America and northern parts of South America. They have evolved to deal with lack of rain and exposed conditions. This greatly affects their care requirements in parts of the world that have different climate.
